Welcome to the 2003 Metro Pride Program
and the introduction of the Metro Pride Breakfast
Seminar Series
Introduction
Keep Australia Beautifuls Metro Pride program
is the leading community and environment program in
metropolitan New South Wales. The program contributes
value that can be calculated in the millions of dollars
and thousands of hours of community work.
The projects carried out not only improve the environment,
but also improve the standard of living and quality
of life for urban communities. More than any other metropolitan
based environmental program, the Metro Pride awards
inspire the community to make a genuine and lasting
contribution to their area, working in partnership with
local government and local business. Nomination forms
will be available soon.
Also, come along to the fantastic Metro Pride Awards
night hosted by last years winner Manly, and held
at the world class St. Patricks International School,
on Friday August 28th.
A new and exciting initiative has been introduced to
this years Metro Pride program. Three seminars
will be held throughout the program which will profile
best practice cutting edge issues and technologies and
will provide the opportunity to learn techniques and
view technologies used in the strategies of urban councils,
groups and individuals.
Breakfast Seminars will be held across Sydney, and will
be held at breakfast to allow participants to start
the day with a first-class breakfast of good food and
helpful information.
